This privacy policy explains what FilmCraft online ("we", "the service") collects when you use the site, and how that information is used. FilmCraft online is an independent AI clip generator — it is not affiliated with ArtCraft or the official FilmCraft app.

What we collect

  • Account details. When you sign in with an email address or a Google account we store the email address and a display name so we can attach credits and clips to your account.
  • Prompts and images. The text prompts and reference images you submit, and the clips that are generated from them.
  • Usage and billing. Credit balance, credit purchases and generation history. Card details are handled by Stripe and never touch our servers.
  • Technical data. IP-derived region, browser type and approximate device information used for security, abuse prevention and analytics.

How we use it

  • To run the generator, deliver your clips, and email finished-clip links to your account address.
  • To keep track of credits and process one-time credit-pack purchases.
  • To prevent abuse (rate limits, repeated failed renders, fraudulent sign-ups).
  • To measure product usage through privacy-friendly analytics (OpenPanel). Analytics is disabled on localhost and for automated browsers.

What we never do

  • We do not sell your personal data.
  • We do not read your prompts or images to build advertising profiles.
  • We do not send marketing email — only transactional messages such as verification codes and finished-clip delivery.

Retention and deletion

Clips stay in your library until you delete them or ask us to remove your account. Email [email protected] to request deletion of your account and associated data.
